Sponsorship

Your mark,
in the lane

Railmid is a browser game two people duel in — no install, no launcher, one URL. A sponsorship puts your mark in four places inside it, and gives you first pick of the players who wear it. Bidding opens at $99 a month, and the highest bidder picks first.

what you get

Four placements

Every picture below is a screenshot of the running game, taken by a script rather than a designer — the mark in them is the sponsorship that is checked in today. Nothing here is a mock-up.

The pre-game screen: two seats, a ready-up clock, and a row across the bottom carrying a sponsor's mark, tagline and web address.
The pre-game screenlive A row under the seats while both players ready up — mark, one line of your own words, and your address as a link. Every match starts here.
The end screen: the verdict, both scorelines, and a sponsor's row under the start-new-game button.
The end screenlive The same row under the scoreline, on the screen nobody skips: it is where the next game is started from.
A live match: two champions and a wave of creeps fighting over ground carrying a large, faint sponsor mark.
The groundlive Your mark painted into the middle of the lane, under every unit, for as long as the match runs. It is the ground the whole game is fought over.
The top of the ladder page: the freshness line, a sponsor's row beside it, and the first ranked player under it.
The ladderlive Beside the line that says how fresh the table is, at the top of /ladder — the page people come back to between sessions.

and the fifth

The player mark

The one that is not a placement on a screen: a sponsored player. Their mark sits beside their handle on the nameplate that rides their champion, and inside the circle their champion is drawn as, for the whole match — in front of the person they are playing and everybody watching.

There is no picture of it above for one honest reason: nobody has been picked yet. The mark is built and the draft is what fills it — the highest bidder picks players for the coming month, the next bidder picks from who is left, and a player is picked by one sponsor at a time. That is what a bid actually buys.

how it is sold

Monthly, by bid

Not offered, and worth saying plainly: there is no revenue share, no payout to players, and no auction running in the background. A bid is a number you tell us, and a person reads it.
